Delete your customer account
You can permanently delete your Truss login from the app or request deletion if you no longer have access to it.
Delete inside the app
- Sign in to your customer account.
- Open Account & Privacy.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the retention notice, type DELETE, and confirm.
Truss deletes the login, password, Passkeys, MFA factors, trusted-device registrations, active invitations, push token, notification delivery records, and account email associated with that login.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@truss.today with the subject Truss account deletion request. Include the email previously used for the account and only the minimum information needed for us to locate it. Do not send a password, PIN, MFA code, recovery code, full TRN, or identity-document image by email.
We will verify that you control the account before completing deletion. If we cannot safely verify the request by email, Support will provide a secure verification step.
What deletion does not erase
Account deletion is not a Trust Score reset and does not automatically erase valid agreements, ledger and payment records, disputes, signatures, consent evidence, audit history, identity links, or score history that must reasonably be retained for financial record-keeping, fraud prevention, disputes, legal obligations, or the rights of merchants and other people.
If a record is inaccurate or unauthorized, dispute it before deleting the account. A successful correction changes the eligible history; deleting the login does not.
If you return to Truss
A merchant must verify you and issue a new invitation linked to the same customer record. Truss then reconnects eligible retained history and recalculates the Personal Trust Score under the current model. A different email or new login does not create a clean Trust Score.
